| Well, my xanga experience in China was a little too 'pure' for my taste and it is nice to be back in a country where I can access just about anything unfit that I see fit.
I noticed the other day that the square footage of a pack of toilet paper is listed on the front. My 12 pack has 1500 square feet, which will be very useful information when my hooligan friends and I next decide to go on a t.p.-ing rampage. | | |
| It's like a feast of love. Blessing galore. Sunshine in Beijing. They haven't gotten sick. We got safely to my home well ahead of the snow. They love my dear friends and the food. The Lord has showered me with good, even though I haven't had my face to him. Even made to be like him, I have no idea how he does it. While he smiles on my inadequaces I stamp my foot and blame him for what I haven't got. Haven't needed or deserved. I always struggle to get free from the love that covers and protects me. It is good to have my family here. Good to see others enjoy and appreciate the blessings they have. Good to be reminded of how to recognize the unexpected good. It's like a feast of love.

| Ah, China. This morning started abruptly at 7 to the sound of fireworks. I have since dined on a diet coke w/ lemon and the crumbly remains of a bag of fritos. Finger-licking good. Yesterday I arrived on campus to 3 glorious faces and the much anticipated sewing machine from my Dad.
Next week my sister and brother-in-law will get to Beijing and the frantic partying will begin. Look out Dong Da, the americans are taking over by storm!! Well, that said, I advise everyone to listen to this album. It rocks.
